After using the filter, use the included flushing plunger (one per filter) to push clean water through the sip straw section. Continue flushing until clean water flows from the dirty water intake. Unlike most filters that only rinse or backwash, leaving contaminants to clog or breed bacteria, ours includes a powerful flushing syringe (1 per filter included in the box).
