The Paruv 160 parasol is resistant to wind speeds up to 20 km/h when the base is buried in the sand to a depth of 25 cm. When the side walls are assembled and the pockets filled with sand, the parasol is securely held in place (with the base buried in the sand and the pole tilted) and can withstand winds of up to 20 km/h in this inclined position, with its back to the wind.
